Weekend DVD Rental Recommendation: The Way (2010)

I had heard a little about the Martin Sheen-Emilio Estevez movie "The Way" when it was in the theaters.  However even the great rating of 80% on RottenTomatoes.com didn't make me head out to the Cineplex while it was still in theaters.  However, when my Mother was recently visiting I was stuck one night for something to do so I ran to the local RedBox.  The choices were slim that night, but the movie "The Way" was available.  I had no clue what it was about, but figured the good rating meant it was worth my time watching.


I'm not going to tell you what the movie is about, I just recommend you get it and watch it - especially if you're in an introspective, "what's life all about?" mood.  I've been thinking about the messages in the movie for two weeks now ... it has definitely stayed in my psyche.  So check it out if you're looking for a good independent film this weekend.
