Note: It has been reported that the Sarasota, Florida Trader Joe's store will open September 7, 2012. (How about adding a Tampa Bay store, Trader Joe's?)
Hello! I am your guest blogger Oshikuru Yakakura, Kitten Samurai. If you're a regular reader of Lily On The Lam, you may be familiar with my brother Finnerty J. Moomaw Yakakura. (Not familiar? Check out the "Main Categories of Lily Posts" list on the left hand column of this blog and click the link for "Why My Cat is an A**hole" for Finnerty posts!)
Oshi - Guest Blogger on Lily On The Lam |
You may be wondering why an almost 2 year old cat would decide to pursue a career in blog writing. Well the multi-colored dyed hair chick who usually writes this blog is laying on the couch in a food coma, so I thought I'd help her out.
By the way, I am available for cat modeling jobs ...
Hi, I'm Oshikuru but you can call me Oshi or Shaunie |
The reason the chick who normally writes this blog is incapacitated is because she and LM left early this morning to road-trip from Tampa, Florida to Naples, Florida to visit Florida's first ever Trader Joe's. A six hour round-trip drive in a 10 hour day of travel, shopping, sightseeing and eating at both The Lucky Dog Diner in Venice, Florida and Mel's Diner in Bonita Springs? Yep, Lily is on the Lam and she's willing to drive far to go to Trader Joe's. Thanks Trader Joe's for FINALLY coming to Florida! However Lily cannot wait until the closer Sarasota location opens. LM and Lily brought back a large carload of goodies. Stay tuned to LilyOnTheLam.com for upcoming Trader Joe's product reviews.
My brother Finnerty (a.k.a. Finnie) is a little pissy that of the bags and bags and huge cooler of items Miss Lily brought back from Naples, there was only ONE item for us cats! Because of his pissy attitude, Finnie is sitting in a large plastic tub contemplating his life. "Meditation in Plastic" - Finnie's breakthrough self-help book will be in your local bookstore and pet food store sometime in the near future, if Finnie can find a distributor.
Finnerty J. Moomaw - every thing is better when kept fresh in PLASTIC. |
While Miss Lily was lounging on the couch deep in her food coma, Finnie and I decided to try the ONE little item you know who brought back for us. It is Bench & Field Holistic Natural Feline Treats.
Bench & Field Feline Treats - purchased at Trader Joe's Naples Florida |
We enjoyed the smell of the treats. They were very welcoming and we dove right in and ate them up. Delish! We give this cat treat two paws UP!
If you want to show your cats some culinary love, check out Bench & Field Feline Treats!
