Merry Christmas! It is 74 degrees in Tampa, but I am pretending its winter by making a giant pot of turkey wild rice soup. The house smells deliciously homey as I watch sailboats covered in Christmas lights sail by my windows.
On the local news the weatherman said "For those expecting a White Christmas, you'll be disappointed." I commented back: "For those expecting a White Christmas, maybe you shouldn't live in Florida."
It's been one heck of a year and I am looking forward to even more adventures in 2014.
But for now I am eating soup, watching "When Harry Met Sally" and cuddling with this little crazy cat, pictured below.
